Celebrating 24 years of musical excellence, Devgandharva Mahotsav is Kalyan Gayan Samaj’s annual tribute to Hindustani Classical Music. Held every December, this grand festival features acclaimed maestros and rising stars, uniting tradition and talent on one soulful stage. In year 2001, on the occasion of its 75th Anniversary, Samaj hosted 3 days “Hindustani Classical Music Festival” in Kalyan for the music lovers of Kalyan and vicinity. The overwhelming response encouraged the young team to walk further miles and start celebrating festival with the name as "Devgandharva Mahotsav" every year in December.
Many world renowned artists from pan India performed at Dev Gandharva Mahotsav . Late Khansaheb Abdul Karimkhan, Ustad Faiyaz Khan, Master Krishnarao, Bade Gulam Ali Khan, Smt. Hirabai Badodekar, Pt. Kumar Gandharva, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and equally illustrious son Ustad Zakir Hussien, Pt. Hariprasad Chourasia, Pt. Shivkumar Sharma, Smt. Kishori Amonkar, Smt. Prabha Atre, Smt. Malini Rajurkar and many others have regaled the audience with their mesmerizing performance.

81 Years ago Established as the academic wing of Kalyan Gayan Samaj, Dinkar Sangeet Vidyalay has been a nurturing ground for classical music education since its inception. With a legacy spanning over seven decades, the Vidyalay has played a vital role in shaping young minds and voices in the field of Hindustani classical music.Our curriculum emphasizes both theoretical foundation and practical performance, guided by experienced gurus who carry forward the traditional guru-shishya ethos in a contemporary, nurturing environment. Vocal (classical and semi-classical), harmonium, tabla, and other instrumental streams are taught with care and rigor.
An initiative by Kalyan Gayan Samaj, UNNAT provides a professional platform for emerging classical musicians and artists. With 8 successful concerts so far, it nurtures fresh talent and encourages creative expression rooted in tradition. A space where the next generation of performers finds voice, guidance, and audience.
