Before entering 75th year, Samaj celebrated Golden Jubilee of Dinkar Sangeet Vidyalay in 1994. In year 2001, on the occasion of its 75th Anniversary, Samaj hosted 3 days “Hindustani Classical Music Festival” in Kalyan for the music lovers of Kalyan and vicinity. The overwhelming response encouraged the young team to walk further miles and start celebrating festival with the name as “Devgandharva Mahotsav” every year in December. Samaj, also took initiative and produced musical plays and provided platform to the local enthusiasts by hosting famous plays like ‘Sangeet Honaji Bala’, ‘Sangeet Yayati Ani Devayani’, ‘Matsyagandha’, ‘Saunshayakallol’, ‘Sangeet Kadhitari Kothetari’ etc. In the last 99 years, several eminent personalities form various fields have visited Kalyan Gayan Samaj on various occasions and have appreciated the work. Late Shri. Vidhyadhar Gokhale, Shri. P. L. Deshpande, Shri. Vitthalrao Gadgil, Shri. Daji Bhatawadekar, Shri Nitin Desai, are few of a long list of names.
Many world renowned artists from pan India performed at the Samaj festivals and programs. All programs were captivated by the knowledgeable and appreciative audience. Late Khansaheb Abdul Karimkhan, Ustad Faiyaz Khan, Master Krishnarao, Bade Gulam Ali Khan, Smt. Hirabai Badodekar, Pt. Kumar Gandharva, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and equally illustrious son Ustad Zakir Hussien, Pt. Hariprasad Chourasia, Pt. Shivkumar Sharma, Smt. Kishori Amonkar, Smt. Prabha Atre, Smt. Malini Rajurkar and many others have regaled the audience with their mesmerizing performance.
