Established as the academic wing of Kalyan Gayan Samaj, Dinkar Sangeet Vidyalay has been a nurturing ground for classical music education since its inception. With a legacy spanning over seven decades, the Vidyalay has played a vital role in shaping young minds and voices in the field of Hindustani classical music.

A Legacy of Learning

Founded in memory of renowned music lover and patron Shri Dinkar Apte, the Vidyalay has been imparting structured and value-based musical training since the early years of the Samaj. The school celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 1969 and Golden Jubilee in 1994, marking decades of contribution to classical music education in the region.

Training is provided by experienced gurus, many of whom are professional performers and disciples of renowned gharanas. The school emphasizes individual attention, discipline, and a deep understanding of musical tradition.

Annual Examinations & Performances

Regular student assessments and stage performances are organized to build confidence and practical exposure.
Students are encouraged to participate in competitions and cultural events hosted by the Samaj and other institutions.
Advanced learners are guided towards formal certifications and opportunities in the performing arts.
